The Apps4Athens Hackathon 2.0: AI Edition is an open innovation initiative aiming at the community activation of society and businesses for the creation of original applications that leverage artificial intelligence technologies to develop smart and innovative solutions.

Challenges

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most significant technological advancements of our time, with the potential to transform the way we work, communicate, and live in our cities. By focusing on AI in the 2nd annual hackathon, we aim to highlight how AI-based solutions can improve the quality of life in Athens, promoting smart resource management, sustainability, and citizen engagement.

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά σας καλούμε στο ενημερωτικό Open Day του Smart Sterea Hackathon στο οποίο θα γίνει παρουσίαση των στόχων, των θεματικών ενοτήτων και της διαδικασίας του μαραθωνίου καινοτομίας.

To Open Day θα πραγματοποιηθεί απομακρυσμένα με την χρήση εργαλείων τηλεδιάσκεψης την Πέμπτη 27 Απριλίου 2023 στις 17:00.

  • Citizen education applications for good environmental protection practices
  • Creating solutions for smart educational programs for the cyclical use of resources within companies and public bodies
  • Development of experiential educational programs through digital tools
  • Utilization of Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR / AR) technologies for the exchange of good practices
  • Utilization of digital tools for the organization of mentoring processes between citizens, businesses and public bodies
  • Creating city lab applications on 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)

Entrepreneurship

  • Resource reuse and waste management
  • Materials, supply chain, environmental footprint of products, actions and actions

Specifically, participants can include startup companies, engineers, programmers, economists, analysts, researchers, students, and anyone else who has an idea related to the thematic units of the marathon and is interested in developing it into a comprehensive application.

At Apps4Athens Hackathon 2.0: AI Edition can participate scientists, engineers, programmers, economists, analysts and in general anyone who has an idea on issues related to the application of new technologies and is interested in developing it. The direction of creating groups between different subjects will be strengthened, as well as collaborations with external participants, such as professionals, academics, researchers or students.
